Okay. So I saw a 30 second snippet of Lady G's Bad Romance music video. And I feel like crying. I mean, seriously, that describes art at it's finest. I cannot WAIT to see the whole thing on Monday. Also, I heard her new single, "Dance in the Dark". It took me a couple of listens to get into it, but now I can't stop listening. As if THE FAME wasn't awesome enough, she was right when she said that she had topped it. FAME MONSTER is truly amazing. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the songs!! =) |

a good day. =) I ran some errands today with my mother, and I got to go shopping at the mall. I got a pair of boots and a pretty lavender sweater for the changing weather. I love this time of year. Haha although here in Florida, it really doesn't feel like Autumn yet. xD I am hoping that when I get older, I will be able to move to New York. Everyone tells me that I don't look like a Florida gal. Lol.
I am also looking forward to tomorrow. Lady GaGa's music video for Bad Romance is going to premiere, and I am just DYING to see it!! On November 22 she will be performing at the American Music Awards, and a day after that, the album FAME MONSTER comes out!! *dies* So much to look forward to this month. =)
That about wraps up today's entry. Of course tomorrow or Sunday, my entire entry will most likely be about how amazing Bad Romance video is. Haha. Well, goodnight LJ. >3<
Edit: I just read that Bad Romance will not be premiering tomorrow, but Monday instead. Aw. Lol. |

I feel way better now. I got some shit accomplished and no longer want to throw myself from a bridge. I might even finally start looking for another job.

I started going to meetings again. It's good to know I don't have to relapse to start over in recovery.

| I'm back AGAIN -_- |

Yeah. I really need to stop disappearing like that. Anyway, 4 months later...I return. >=D For some reason, I just got the urge to blog again.
The past 4 months have been pretty busy, but pretty fun as well. Here's sort of a run-down of what I've been doing:
- First and foremost, no, I did not get to return to school this year. I was really upset about it at first, but I'm okay with it now. Gotta do what ya gotta do. I still get to see my friends a lot, and I'm making good grades... ;)
- Over the Summer break, I did not play video games at all. I didn't even touch my Wii or DS. Now when school starts, I start playing video games again. O_o Haha I'm doing it backwards. Anyway I've been playing a lot of Pokemon lately...Pokemon Fire Red, Pokemon Sapphire, and I'm looking foward to the release of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver versions. =) I also ran through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Great game.
- Lady GaGa's new song "Bad Romance" is freakin awesome. I personally think that she's getting better and better. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
- I've become quite the makeup artist. Lol. I've really been into that stuff lately. Experimenting with it is...fun. xD
- Aaand lastly, Halloween was...fun for the most part. My friend's aunt had a little Halloween party, and she wanted me to go with her since it would be mostly adults. So I went. I'm not really much of a party person, but it was cool. =) Our costume theme was "Moulin Rouge". You know, that night club in Paris? The movie with Nicole Kidman? Ring a bell?? Well, yeah. Our outfits were kind of similar to what you see in the music video for "Lady Marmalade", except...not as...well, raunchy. xD
Yep. I had lots to blog. Most of it was pointless stuff, but really, that about sums up my life right now. I will try to blog as often as I can. Who knows when my next entry will be....tomorrow? In 3 days? In a YEAR?? Lol. Well for now, see ya LJ. |

Okay so last night I went into total sap mode. When Michael and I first got together, he made a mix for me that was SUPPOSED to be a Lazy Sunday Morning kind of a thing, but mostly wound up being love songs. It's great, and I'd post the track list if I had it right now but I don't. ANYWAY, I've been meaning to do the same but was not sufficiently inspired until last night. I knocked this bitch out in just two hours.
It's kind of in chronological order, like it starts out with songs to the effect of "OMG I LIKE THIS PERSON BUT I HAVE TO PRETEND I DON'T" and then goes through realizing my feelings, starting to act on them, getting to know each other, and so on and so forth. I'm really happy with it.
I purposely left off songs by a lot of the usual suspects, such as Neutral Milk Hotel, XTC, Sparks, the Arcade Fire, Of Montreal, and others. I don't know why. And with the exception of a couple tracks, I used songs that I don't think he knows. Or if he does, we've never talked about.
